One day in Aarhus

On Saturday we decided to go to Aarhus, the second biggest city of Denmark. We took the train around 12:00 a.m. which costed 38 DKK for one way (with the wundercard that gives a 50 % discount).
After only 30 minutes through the Danish countryside, we arrived not far away from the town center. We started to walk in the city, which is really beautifull as you can see on the picture:

Then, we visited the ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum founded by citizens of Aarhus in 1859, it is Denmark’s largest art collection outside Copenhagen and the entrance was about 80 DKK.
There was also a rainbow tower at the top from which you can see all the city in different colors!

The sculpture "Boy" by the australian artist Ron Mueck is the symbol of the museum. It is five meters tall and weights 500 kg! Amazing!

After that, we joined some Italian, Spanish and French friends to eat together. The Burger King was perfect for it! Here it costs about 70 DKK for a small menu, quiet expensive but so good!

And finally, we went to a Danish Pub and an Australian Bar before going back to Horsens by train at 2:00 a.m.

It was definitely a nice trip!
